Hey Monday people! It’s been a really busy/exciting weekend, playing my first two shows since coming back from Portugal a week ago. It’s definitely been an aggressive way to get back into shows, but was great fun! On Friday I played for around three hours in The Belle Vue in Bangor, which was a great way to warm up, and get back into the swing of things. Playing for that long took its toll on my voice, though I was still fresh and up for my gig the next day! On Saturday I headed down to play at Conwy Feast for the second time! It was such a brilliant show to do, the audience was really up for it, great atmosphere , great sound, it was just a pleasure to be able to play! I had a brilliant time playing some new songs, and having them received in such a brilliant way! I’m still recovering from the weekends antics, but am ready to have another busy one next weekend! I have two brilliant gigs next weekend, starting off with Glyn Fest on November 2nd. Glyn Fest is a brand new festival, scattered across venues in Colwyn Bay, bringing artists all over Wales, to showcase their music! I’ve not performed in Colwyn Bay for a few months so am excited to return! Then on November 3rd, I’m heading down to Manchester to play at Oxjam Manchester. I love getting the opportunities to play in the city, as it’s one of my favourite places to be. Everyone’s always up for a good laugh, and I get to visit friends and family! It’s crazy still being so busy this late in the year, but am slowly winding down after this next weekend, with my last show of the year booked in December. It’s time to start getting focused on making 2019 the biggest year for Lost Like Alice, and seeing where my music will take me. It’s been a bit hectic since I’ve got back from Holiday, getting back into gigs, trying to get recording projects finished, it’s just been really full on! It’s all great fun though! Be sure to come out to next weekends shows to catch some brand new songs! I’m currently looking for shows to play next year, be sure to get in touch! I did say in last weeks blog that I would be writing about a different show from the year every week, which I must admit, I almost forgot! I didn’t though so that’s all that matters! The show I’m going to be talking about, happened on the 25th of August this year, In Amlwch Port. I supported Gruffydd Wyn for his hometown show, to thank everyone for the support on his time on Britain’s Got Talent. It was surreal to be at such a big event, just a few minutes away from my house! I’ve spent an awful lot of time in Amlwch growing up, and was brilliant to see the community come together like they did! I love any opportunity to perform in front of a big crowd, it’s just an incredible amount of fun! It’s probably my favourite show this summer, and can’t wait to get some new exciting gigs lined up for next year!
